For a while they’ve had the Caribbean Spice, Chipotle Garlic, and Cayenne Habanero Sauces on the shelves at The Cheese Store. Now they also carry the Ghost Pepper Sauce, Jolokia Ghost Pepper Grinder, and Chipotle Olive Tapenade too!

If you want to get some of the world’s hottest pepper, try our Ghost Pepper Sauce and the Jolokia Ghost Pepper in a Grinder. The Grinder is dried and crushed Bhut Jolokia Pepper in a pepper mill grinder, perfect for controlling the amount of heat you want to add to your favorite dish.

So stop in and buy some fiery sauces and check out the amazing cheeses and great wines that they have. The staff is very knowledgeable, so ask them anything and they will help you, whether it’s pairings for a cheese or a recommendation on a nice bottle of wine.

Last week a new location of Rocket Fizz Soda Pop & Candy Shop opened in Valencia, CA. They’ve got tons of sodas that are from unique and small-independent soda makers, and lots of old-school candies, like Ice Cubes, Zotz, and Pop-Rocks just to name a few.

So we went in to check it out the new store and met the owner, Ken. We got to talking about our gourmet hot sauces and fiery snacks, they have a few popcorn snacks, but nothing at all like our sweet-heat fiery caramel popcorn. So he said that he wouldn’t mind checking out our Sweet Habanero and Sweet Ghost Pepper Popcorn.

We brought some in and they tried them out… Loved them! So they are trying out our 2 fiery caramel popcorn snacks in this location.

This great Italian Deli has some really great, hard to get, products for making your favorite Italian dishes, as well as delicious prepared foods. Soups, Salads, Pasta, Sandwiches, and more. All the breads and pastries are made daily. (One good thing to come out of the current economic times, Vinny was able to find a great pastry chef when she was let go from one of the major casinos. You gotta try the tiramisu and cannolis.)

These guys did an awesome job of giving those who couldn’t be at the Fiery Foods & BBQ Show a little peek into the event. They also gave the vendors and manufacturers some added exposure and a voice to the world.

Coming off of our big new product introduction in Albuquerque, NM at the Fiery Foods & BBQ Show last week, this weekend we will be at Surfas Chef’s Paradise in Culver City, CA for the debut of our new products to Los Angeles area.

We just returned from the Fiery Foods & BBQ Show in Albuquerque, NM where we debuted our newest Gourmet Fiery Foods and they were a huge success.

All of the new Jolokia Ghost Pepper products (Jolokia Ghost Pepper Sauce, Adobo and Jerk Ghost Pepper Rubs, and the Fiery Caramel Popcorns) were so well received, we heard “that is incredible” and “those are awesome” all day long.

Some of the best praise comes when other exhibitors come back after tasting our products and asking for more, not just a taste, but to add to some food that they were already having at the show. Several vendors asked for either our Adobo Ghost Rub or the Ghost Pepper Sauce to add to their Bloody Marys. Our neighbor Lille Belle Farms kept asking for our Ghost Pepper Rubs to shake on their lunch sandwiches and even their morning bagels with cream cheese.

One of the best quotes was from a lady who said, “I love it when you talk dirty to me” as JD was describing the Angel Hair Pasta dish he does with our Chipotle Olive Tapenade.

Another highlight was seeing toddlers who actually enjoyed having fiery foods! One woman said that she had eaten spicy foods through her entire pregnancy and now her 1 y.o. son loves spicy food. He couldn’t get enough of our Sweet Habanero Candied Popcorn!

It was a great show for us to introduce our new products to the industry. This weekend (Sat. March 13th, 2010) we will be debuting our new products in the Los Angeles area at Surfas Chef’s Paradise in Culver City. Surfas has been great supports of All Spice Cafe and will be the first local retailer to carry all of our new Ghost Pepper Products!

We are already looking forward to next year’s Fiery Foods Show (March 4-6, 2011). Hope to see everyone there!

This past year, we were able to obtain some of these peppers through a local Southern California source and we have developed some new products that contain this World Hottest Chile Pepper.

We are going to introduce our new products globally at this year’s 22nd Annual National Fiery Foods & Barbecue Show in Albuquerque, New Mexico (stop by booth #122), March 5th thru 7th, 2010. The following week, we will have the introduction of these new products in Los Angeles at Surfas Chef’s Paradise in Culver City on Sat March 13th, 2010 (noon – 3pm).

Following in the footsteps of the existing gourmet hot sauce product line, using the latest fiery trend in extreme-capsaicin peppers, the World’s Hottest Pepper (as named by the Guinness Book of World Records), the Bhut Jolokia Ghost Pepper is in the newest All Spice Cafe Sauce, the Jolokia Ghost Pepper Sauce. Keeping with the mantra of having heat without loosing the flavor, we created this sauce to meet the desires of the chilehead community for extreme heat, but kept true to our product line and have a sauce that is full of flavor. This sauce makes Buffalo style Hot Wings, can be added to a bloody mary, or just about anything you want to add some fire to.

Next in the new lineup are two dry seasoning rubs, which also use the Jolokia Ghost Pepper: Ghost Adobo Rub and Ghost Jerk Rub. Over many years of backyard cooking and catering, we have used a generic dry spices mix that was basically the Latin-American spice mix Adobo Seasoning. We started making our own recipe and got our hands on some of the Bhut Jolokia Ghost Pepper, adding it into our recipe. After years of making our Caribbean Spice Sauce, we felt that these spices would make a great jerk seasoning and adding the Bhut Jolokia Ghost Pepper to give it a really nice fiery kick.

With the dry seasoning rubs, we are introducing a Crushed Jolokia Ghost Pepper Grinder, using only crushed up dried Bhut Jolokia Peppers and presenting them in a traditional pepper grinder. It’s a great way to add a kick of heat on whatever you are eating. This way you won’t get any on your hands (don’t touch your face or other body parts if you do!) and you control how much you use. Just keep it on the table and give a little twist to give anything some heat.

And then for something completely different, we are offering two fiery-sweet snacks: Sweet Habanero Candied Popcorn and Sweet Ghost Pepper Candied Popcorn. Think of caramel coated popcorn that you might get at the carnival or amusement park and then hit it with some fiery pepper heat. After a lot of hard work, refining the recipe, learning a lot about candy making, and finding someone to help us produce this fiery sweet snack, we finally have a product that we really feel is something everyone will love. Initially we are coming to market with 2 heat levels, Habanero (XXX-Hot) and Jolokia Ghost Pepper (X-Treme Heat) for the serious chileheads out there. In the future we hope to have some milder versions for the rest of the world. With a good balance of sweet and heat, this crunchy snack is totally addicting and just one handful isn’t enough.
