Maria Elena's Horchata

Maria Elena's Horchata

The small artisan food industry is a great community and we (small start-up artisans) help each other out whenever we can. The guys at Maria Elena’s Authentic Latino Inc. are exactly like that. We really hit it off and ever since first meeting we have done several events together. Their Organic Horchata is a really nice compliment to our fiery products.

JD Talks with James Beck of SpicyRV

Tuesday, April 6th, 2010

For this year’s Fiery Foods and BBQ Show, a group of guys from Houston Texas got together and made a road trip out of it, in what was called the SpicyRV. Along the way, they blogged, tweeted, and videoed their adventures, then once at the Show they did live-streaming talks with a bunch of folks in the fiery foods industry.

Here is the talk that James Beck of EatMoreHeat.com had with JD. And as they say, “We now join the scheduled program, already in progress…”

These guys did an awesome job of giving those who couldn’t be at the Fiery Foods & BBQ Show a little peek into the event. They also gave the vendors and manufacturers some added exposure and a voice to the world.

So a HUGE Thank You to the crew of the SpicyRV and especially for EatMoreHeat in front of the camera and Media975 behind the camera. We all can’t wait for the next SpicyRV adventure and rumor has it that we might not have too long to wait.

Thanks to everyone who came to the show and all our friends and family for giving us all the love and support. See you next year in Albuquerque, if not sooner!

Happy New Year!

Sunday, January 3rd, 2010

First things first, a huge Thank You for a great 2009! Over 60 stores and restaurants in the U.S. and Canada are now carrying All Spice Cafe products (see our Buy Page). The online store saw a lot of orders throughout the year, especially around the holidays. The holiday gift boxes were a big hit, so big, we ran out of them about 2 weeks before Christmas.

This year All Spice Cafe will be giving away 1 item every Monday for all of 2010. To be in the drawing you need to be a Fan on facebook, a Follower on twitter, or have a login on our online store. To better your chances why not all 3: be a Fan, a Follower AND have a login? We’ll rotate the lists each week starting with the fb fans, the next week will be twitter followers and the third week will be for the online store. Once a name has been picked, the winner will be contacted by email asking which product they would like and where it should be sent. Seems pretty simple! See the details and follow along throughout the year here.

Here’s hoping for an even better year in 2010!
